I love the Autumn season. Sure, it starts to rain and it's a little chillier, but that means that we've all got an excuse to stock our wardrobes with cosy sweaters and woolly socks. This sweater is from New Look, and is a gorgeous shade of rust. I also picked up this lace top from Zara whilst in France. They didn't have any left in my size but I wanted it that badly that I decided to just go one up and deal with it. It's such a pretty girly-girl top, so I love pairing it with my utility trousers (also from Zara).

I was very intrigued when I heard about GlossyBox, the UK's equivalent of BirchBox. I'd heard mixed reviews but, being the beauty junkie I am, I signed up straight away a few months back, however the waiting list was so long so I only got my first one this month. When it arrived I was really excited, and pretty pleased with what I got.
The product that I love most is the HD Eye Brow Palette. There's nothing more flattering to the face than a pair of well groomed, well filled brows. My next favourite is the Neal & Wolf Harmony Intensive Care Treatment for your hair, which smells gorgeous. I tend to only use shampoo on my hair and no other conditioners, as I find that that's what works best for my hair type, however I'm happy enough to use this as it makes it smooth without making it any finer.
Also in the box was a sample of Plum by Mary Greenwell perfume. It seems a little mature for me, but pleasant nonetheless. I got a Kimia Exquisite Rejuvinating Facial System sample, consisting of an Exquisite All-Natural Face Oil and a Hydra-Activator, which are very refreshing but I haven't noticed any clear effects as of yet. The final product included was the Dead Sea Spa Magik Salt Brushing pack. I haven't tried it yet which makes this a slightly pointless sentence, but I'm excited to try anything exfoliating.

I've been humming this song for the past few days, so it was completely unintentional that I chose 'Signed Sealed Delivered' for the home-delivery service review...

Only a quick post on a some things I've bought lately. There'll be a few more of these posts in the upcoming weeks as I've purchased more than this, I just haven't had time to photograph everything. And with regards to these Topshop suede slipper shoes, these babies are so comfy to wear. Boring to some, but perfectly simple to me. They go with everything, and there's nothing wrong with a good pair of suede flats. Was also in dire need of a new purse, so picked this up from Topshop too (who must made a hefty profit from my visits this month).

This is Mike.

I never thought I'd get to the point of blogging where I begin to introduce special people in my life to you all. And clearly I'm not, as I'm introducing to you my dog: Mike. He's a golden labrador - though many people tend to think he's cross-bred - and throws controversy to the saying 'a dog is a man's best friend': I'm no man and I can safely say Mike is my best friend (sad, perhaps, but true). When I get through the door he's always there greeting me with a present, i.e a toy, which he believes to be the greatest of gifts to give me, and it's hilarious watching him gallop around the wood, occasionally jutting his head out from behind a tree in a hide-and-seek motion.
Admittedly, this post is the product of rifling through some photos already saved on my laptop - spare time has been pretty rare this past week. I'd better stop writing here otherwise I'll be rambling paragraph after paragraph about Mike, but it's hard not to - I can't help laughing just thinking about him. It's strange how an animal can gain such a character and picks up little habits, much like a person. These last few photos are of him about a year ago when he was a teeny puppy, but he's still just as cute. Usually.
